Southdowns show at Beaulieu Motorcycle World
Saturday 24 & Sunday 25th June 2006 you will find us at the Motorcycle World show at Beaulieu
Southdowns Motorcaravans always offer a wide range of motorhomes capable of carrying a motorcycle in the garage, and this weekend we will be showing some of these to visitor to the Motorcycle World Show.
Vehicles on display will be a Rimor Europeo NG5 , Rimor Superbrig 747 TC and a Concorde Cruiser and Compact.
Great
displays are expected on the demonstration and grass circuits and superb stunts from Jason Finn who will wow the crowds in the main arena on Saturday and
Sunday.
Sammy Miller's Grand Prix team will include a plethora of racing heroes including Sammy himself and Stuart Graham, Ralph Bryans, Tommy Robb, Mick Grant
and Phil Read. Also World Champion Jean Francois Baldé will take part in the extensive programme on the demonstration circuit.
On the Grass Circuit there is biking action of a different kind with Speedway, Motocross and Quad demonstrations. Watch displays from Australian Speedway
Champions Jason Doyle and Craig Boyce, the Isle of Wight and Poole Speedway teams as well as outfits from the World Sidecar Speedway Series.
Major manufacturers attending the show include BMW, Aprilia, Kawasaki, Ducati, Royal Enfield, Victory, Suzuki, Triumph, Buell, JTS and Yamaha. See their latest
models at special exhibition prices and meet their Race Teams and Riders. Among the Classic and Modern Owners Clubs represented will be MV Agusta, Moto Rumi,
Kawasaki and The Kettle Club.
In the National Motor Museum you can see Kevin and Julia Sanders record-setting BMW (We still haven’t cleaned the South American mud off!) - and there’s good
news for BMF clubs looking for a rideout opportunity...contact BMF Head Office for further details!
Hailwood’s 1961 250-four heads a lineup of classic motorcycles that includes Old Miracle, The Graham Walker Rudge and the monstrous, and unique, BSA custom

Announcing the appearance at Motorcycle World of two further celebrities in the form of Maria Costello, the fastest woman racer round the Isle of Man TT course
and former BSB Champion, Shane Byrne.
The Waterside Junior Motorcycle Club will be providing an exhilarating demonstration of Trials motorcycling and pushbike Trials incorporating 10 man
made sections to ride over showing their skills of balance and nerve including:
- Demos in the main arena.
- Obstacles, Including cars, vans, sheds, pallets all being ridden, all day.
- Professional riders to the very youngest of riders, on their small trials bikes. (Approx 20-25 riders)
- Some professional Trials Push Bike riders will be there (names not confirmed) and several expert riders (15-20 approx) will demonstrate their skills, in both arenas during the day.
- Several professional riders on hand to give trials advice all day to
young and old alike.
Steve Saunders is again confirmed to be riding at this years event as a Ten Times British Outdoor Champion, World Trials de-nations captain and winner of world rounds, he again will be fun to watch. Two whole days of non-stop trials riding.
Quad Village Update
At Quad Village this year see the latest models from the top-level players in the UK market, including AJS, Apache, Kawasaki, Polaris, Quadzilla and Yamaha,
as well as a first UK show for leading US producer Arctic Cat.
Not only that, we have an exciting brand new product launch of a 400cc 4x4 road-legal quad!
See demonstrations of road-legal quadricycles from the major manufacturers, as well as spirited displays on the grass track circuit from top racers and the
Quad Racing Association (QRA). Meet the team from Quad Magazine, the UK’s only dedicated quad title, and browse among stands from dealers in quads and accessories.
Stand in awe before the magnificent and unique `Duquati` show quad from The Custom Quad Shack also making its show debut at Motorcycle World!
Also in Quad Village will be dozens of stands selling equipment and accessories, clothing and spares, even training providers. Everything you need to begin your
family forays in the Forest on four wheels!
And it’s not just `ride-on` with quads, the `ride-in` market gets its first look-in at a major show as Buggies join quads centre stage on the daily demonstration circuit in front of thousands of visitors interested in two and four wheels - a first look at AXR’s right hand drive 400cc-engined roadgoing Carbone is promised.
