Speed, speed, stars & speed....

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is arguably the world’s biggest and most diverse celebration of the history of motor sport.

It is the only occasion where you will see in action the greatest competition cars and star drivers from all eras: everything from 19th century steam carriages to current Formula One; fabulous racing motorcycles; classic rally cars to 3000bhp dragsters; plus motor sport legends like Moss, Surtees, Brabham and Andretti rubbing shoulders with today's hottest properties such as Jenson Button and Colin McRae.

In additional British motor-racing favourite and Concorde Motorhome owner Nigel Mansell has recently announced that he will be attending this years event for the first time.

Nigel is quoted as saying: “I am delighted to be invited to Goodwood, as I have heard many good things about the event. I am really looking forward to driving some of my old cars again, and being able to put on a show for the British fans who have always supported me so brilliantly.”

This year's even takes place on July 7th, 8th 9th at the circuit, situated just a mile or so from Southdowns Motorcaravans. Whilst we are not showing any vehicles this year (although it is expected that Nigel Mansell will be staying in his new Concorde Charisma) we do welcome any visitor to the event who may wish to come in and see us at our premises in Aldingbourne.
