Southdowns Motorcaravans are a family owned and operated business; founded and still owned by our Managing Director, Michael Ayling. A number of years after the company was started, Michael was joined in the business by his two sons Andrew and Russell, the three of us now run Southdowns Motorhome Centre as a family business.

We believe are one of the UK's most progressive motorcaravan dealerships with a complimentary portfolio of quality motorhome franchises. We are the UK importer and sole UK supplier of what is generally regarded as the best quality motorhome built in Europe, Concorde. We are one of the country's premier dealers for Bürstner and Hobby,  probably holding the largest range of Burstner motorhomes for sale in the country.

Our reputation for supplying top quality European motorhomes has lead us to being recently selected to spearhead the re-launch of the popular German Knaus motorhomes into the UK. We are also the sole UK dealer for the highly regarded range of Italian motorhomes manufacturer, Laika. As of the Hymer Group companies, Laika combined German quality and construction techniques with Italian design flair.

We are pleased to have recently announced that in addition to our quality European franchises, we will now also be offering a British Built motorhome for sale. We are excited that the all new Alu-Tech motorhome being built by well respected English manufacturer Bailey will be available from Southdowns Motorhome Centre. Bailey have always been highly regarded as a touring caravan manufacturer and we are sure their revolutionary Alu-Tech construction technique, which was revolutionary when they introduced it to touring caravan industry a few years ago, will raise the bar in the UK motorhome industry.

Southdowns have been associated with Rimor Motorhomes for many years; in the past we have been the country's primary importer, main servicing centre and for long periods the sole supplier of Rimor parts. We currently choose not to import any Rimor Motorhomes into the UK, however we do continue to operate the UK's best Rimor parts operation and our workshop continues to provide experienced Rimor technicians for existing owners looking to have work carried out on their vehicle.

In addition to our extensive yet complimentary range of motorhomes, we are pleased to offer the cool, chic, funky range of tear-drop shaped T@B Caravans. We like to make it clear that we are not a caravan dealer, but as I always say, "its' not a caravan, it's a T@B!!"

We are pleased to welcome all visitors, whether prospective clients or existing customers to our site in Portsmouth. We operate from a large, well known site in Portsmouth, not far from the M27/A3 junction. The site was previously a Mercedes-Benz main dealer site, and as such has an welcoming heated showroom, a large workshop and large outside area where our motorhomes are displayed for viewing.

Via our website, we aim to give customers comprehensive layout, technical specification and pricing details of the our manufacturers we represent; we pride ourselves in showing what we constantly strive to be the best New & Used Stocklist of any motorhome dealer in Europe, extensive Motorhome Image Galleries and also to let you know about any Special Deals we are currently offering.
