Southdowns acquire stunning new premises.
As many of you know, Southdowns Motorcaravans has been struggling to cope in our rather cramped premises in Aldingbourne near Chichester.
We are pleased to announce that we have recently completed the purchase of a stunning new premises at Southsea, Portsmouth just 20 minutes away from our current location.
The property, well know in the area, was formerly the Pentagon Mercedes-Benz car showroom. After twenty years on the site retailing and servicing Mercedes cars they have recently moved five minutes up the road to the new Motor Park.
The site will enable us to display many more vehicle both inside and outside and has a large eight vehicle workshop. In addition we plan to open a new camping and leisure retail store.

Managing Director, Michael Ayling, comments ‘As a rapidly expanding small
business we have outgrown our current location and have been looking for
suitable premises for some time. We consider the former Pentagon site at
Anchorage Park an excellent move for us.
Not only are our new premises purpose built for a motor trade operation such as ourselves but we will also be relocating to an area which will make our business highly visible to our customer base. It will provide us with an excellent shop window for our motorhomes, which we believe are the best on the market.’
No date has yet been set for the move, but we will update customers with further information in due course.
