Las Vegas Strip Motorhome RV Campsite Closes

Shattered Dreams: 'I was going to go there one day!'

We are very sad to report that the only RV camp site on the Las Vegas strip is set to close. Located just behind Circus Circus for the past 35 years, the much loved KOA campsite is making way for a new rock festival site.

Whaaat! I can't believe it!

I was going to stay there one day.

I know it's across the Atlantic and getting my motorhome there won't be easy...

But I was going to stay there one day.

I know I only get a week or two off at a time and America would take a month or two...

But I was going to stay there one day.

I know that the north end of the strip is not the nicest part of the strip...

But I was going to stay there one day.

I know I'd rather stay in a nice hotel with a bar and a spa after a ten hour flight...

But I was going to stay there one day.

I know my wife wouldn't be seen dead there...

But I was going to stay there one day.

Anyway, just in case I do ever get to Las Vegas in my van, I'll have to stay at Sam's Town. Hey, I think I've got that album...
 

PS I did get my cab to drive past it once just so I could have a quick look...
