New Motorhome Service Centre Now Open

Southdowns invest £1m in stunning new motorhome service centre facility

We are pleased to announce that our new motorhome service centre has opened and is now fully operational. The site is conveniently located just around the corner from our motorhome showroom in Portsmouth.

Visitors to Southdowns over the last year or so will know that as our business has grown, we have sometimes struggled for space. When we lost the motorhome display area over the road in 2103 we decided to move the workshop from the Painter Close site to a temporary workshop location whilst we found a suitable building to create a new state of the art motorhome workshop.

Over the winter we purchased a commercial vehicle workshop from our local Iveco and Ford Transit dealer and have spend the spring month turning it into a fabulous new site from which to work on motorhomes. The building is ideally suited to motorhome service, with each work bay having it own large access door to enable smooth and efficient access for even the largest of Concorde motorhomes.

The investment of nearly one million pounds clearly shows Southdowns commitment to offering the very best levels of service to UK motorhomers.

Work on the site has included the the creation of an extensive parts department, allowing us to maintain an even greater stock of motorhome parts and accessories.

We are also pleased to announce that our workshop team is also being expanded with additional technicians, a new motorhome parts storeman and a new professional Aftersales Manager. Ross Alesbury joins the Southdowns Service Team after a long and successful career in the quality car industry, most recently after 12 years as Aftersales Manager with a prestigious local Audi franchise.
