Concorde Winter Rally 2008

The Annual Rally visits Lake Tennsee

For the first time the Concorde Winter Meeting 2008 will take place from 25th February until 2nd March in Krum at the beautiful lake Tennsee. Concorde was able to find the perfect partner, the located Alpen-Caravanpark, for this meeting.

As the Alpen-Caravanpark Tennsee is located in a high altitude area we can guarantee defogged and sunny days. The Isar Valley offers winter hiking trails of 60 kilometres and ski tracks for cross-country skiing of 30 kilometres.

All in all there are the perfect conditions for cross-country skiing and hiking. The ski track is 300 metres away from the camping ground and of course you can take a shorter route as well. There are further ski tracks in Klais, Kaltenbrunn and Elmau as well as a lighted night-time track in Krun. Near the lake Barnsee, 400 meters away, there is a small ski-lift. The skiing areas in Mittenwald with Luttensee, Wildensee and Dammkar, the ski circuit Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the area around Seefeld have something to offer for everyone.

The charge for the camping space, the visitor's tax, the rubbish tax and the fantastic program are included in the price of 350 euro for one motor home with two persons.

PROGRAM:

MONDAY, 25TH FEBRUARY
In the afternoon you will arrive at the camping ground, the street is called “Am Tennsee 1” in Krun. Then at 5 p.m. we are meeting at the terrace in order to have some mulled wine and Jagertee. After that we are going to have dinner.

TUESDAY, 26TH FEBRUARY
At 9 a.m. we are visiting Karwendel by bus. We have planned to return at about 5 a.m.

WEDNESDAY, 27TH FEBRUARY
Today you can do whatever you would like to do - skiing or hiking for example. Surely you will not be bored as Krun and the close-by skiing areas are offering a lot. At 5 p.m. we are offering a 4-hours-long hiking tour to Rusticana.

THURSDAY, 28TH FEBRUARY
Equipped with sturdy shoes, we will meet for winter archery at 10 a.m. Surely we will arrange a competition woman versus men. In the afternoon you can relax.

FRIDAY, 29TH FEBRUARY
Today we will make an excursion to the famous monastery Ettal by bus. Afterwards we will visit a cheese diary. Delicious! At about 3 p.m. we will be back at the camping ground.

SATURDAY, 1ST MARCH
Today you can do whatever you would like to do - however you should not miss the three-course menu with music and dance at 6 p.m. We do not have to mention that this event will end rather late

SUNDAY, 2ND MARCH
In the morning unfortunately you have to say goodbye to the wonderful wintery lake Tennsee. Besides you have already booked for a few more days.
