Bailey Wins Customer Satisfaction Award

Bailey of Bristol have emerged as the big winners in Practical Caravan & Motorhomes s inaugural Owner Satisfaction Awards.

The survey, conducted in partnership with leisure insurance specialist Coast is the UK's most in-depth look at how happy owners are with their caravans and motorhomes.

Bailey stood out from the results of the survey, which gathered data from nearly 1800 caravan and motorhome owners during 2012. Owners of Bailey caravans posted the highest satisfaction ratings with their caravans, with an 88% satisfaction rating when bought new.

This customer satisfaction extends to their motorhomes too where Bailey won Gold Award in their first year of entry of the Practical Motorhome Magazine Owner Satisfaction Survey. The company’s vehicles achieved an overall satisfaction rating of 97%, well above the 80% gold standard benchmark, which put them in second place overall and was the highest score achieved by volume manufacturer in the 2013 New Motorhome Survey.

“We are extremely encouraged with our first showing in the Practical Motorhome Survey. Total customer satisfaction is top priority at Bailey and this independent owner feedback shows that we are largely on the right track in terms of product performance and customer service. However we shall be looking closely at the findings of the report to identify areas which require further improvement”.

The Bailey Approach SE is a motorhome which is designed to be driven with all models featuring a Peugeot 2.2 Hdi 130 bhp engine complete with a 6-speed manual gearbox, an AL-KO AMC chassis and the Alu-Tech bodyshell as standard specification. This combines with beautifully-styled British interiors, which provide comfort and practicality in equal measure, and a level of specification not normally found on vehicles in this price bracket to make it the complete motorhome range.

The Practical Motorhome Owner Satisfaction Survey is now in its ninth year and is compiled using direct customer feedback on all aspects of ownership of both new and pre-owned vehicles. As such it remains the definitive report on motorhome performance in use and Bailey would like to congratulate everybody involved for providing this valuable information resource to prospective buyers.
